What you’ll achieve

As a Data Engineer II on a growing team, you will bring in your industry experience to develop, deploy, and maintain productionized data pipelines that support the training and productionization of machine-learning models.

You will:

  • Build, test, and deploy data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, and Python for the training and inferencing of machine-learning models
  • Ensure data quality, monitor data pipelines, and troubleshoot production issues
  • Document metadata, data models, data pipelines and APIs to help data science teams understand and leverage data assets.
  • Work with data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements

Essential requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ professional experience developing production-quality Python and performant SQL, working with data warehouses, JSON, and Apache Hive, Hadoop or Spark, or related technologies
  • 1-2 years’ professional experience with orchestration tools, such as Apache AirFlow
  • 1-2 years’ professional experience with monitoring tools and observability
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience

Desirable requirements:

  • Professional experience with PostgreSQL, DevOps practices, and test-driven development
  • Professional experience working with private cloud or on-premises infrastructure

Salary starting from: 1 880 Euro/gross monthly
