What you’ll achieve

As a Data Engineering Consultant you will be responsible for managing CIS (Channel Incentive Solution) data automation projects. You will work with CFS, channel programs, channel rebate controllers and finance teams, and development teams to drive further automation and enable inclusive incentive analytics.

You will:

  • Drive stakeholder roadmap priorities and actions at a senior level collaborating with leaders and business units and development teams.
  • Act as a lead on automation, BI, and data projects. Bring viable solutions to complex business problems with deep understanding of Dell data structures, rebate incentives, and business priorities and process.
  • Align multiple organizations around difficult or complex solutions and issues.
  • Manage data automation initiatives and solutions contained within and built from the Channel Incentive Solution, which serves as the calculation engine and SSOT for Dell Partner incentives.

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in similar roles managing stakeholder engagement and developers, coupled with a technical background managing large complex data and automation projects.
  • Advanced experience with solution architecture and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Experience building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency.
  • Experience and proficiency with database development and DBMS systems, preferably including Teradata, SQL Server, and MemSQL.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions.

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Expertise in Enterprise Channel Sales operations and data.
