As an intern in the Customer Growth Marketing teams focused on ML/AI & buyer insights, you will help build analytics and AI/ML based solutions which ensure our marketing activities help Dell’s customers to get the products and solutions they really need.

You will:

• Assist our lead developers build models, carry out experiments, solve automation problems, build customer insights dashboards and/or deploy our models to production
• Work in a collaborative environment with industry leading professionals who will help you to learn and find your own way
• Use open source technologies to bring innovative and scalable solutions
• Develop in R / Python / Go / JavaScript / SQL / NoSQL or any other language you like
• Improve our algorithms and therefore our customer’s experience in every engagement we make with them – right product, right message, right time
• Deliver new buyer insights which impact our marketing strategy

Essential Requirements

Desirable Requirements (you do not need all of these – 1-2 areas will suffice!)

• Any past exposure to programming languages such as: Python, R, Go, C++, JavaScript, SQL, NoSQL
• Any exposure to dashboarding frameworks or visualization libraries, e.g. RShiny, Dash, PowerBI, QlickView, Tableau, ggplot, matplotlib, plotly, seaborn
• Worked with IDEs such as Jupyter, PyCharm, RStudio, DataGrip, DBeaver

Any exposure to deployment frameworks and Statistics As an IT Senior Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.

You will:

• Feature engineering: Stitching together and aggregation of multiple large data sets working with the data scientist to a desired format. You will need to optimize both queries and architecture to support big data sets.
• Data pipelining: Once the initial dataset are prepared, it is normally run through a further pipeline to prepare it for modelling. Here you will create features that make Machine Learning/Artificial algorithms work (e.g. translating text into category variables). Expect to work with datasets with billions of rows and thousands of columns. Python/R is usually the preferred language, some larger tasks require Spark.

Essential Requirements

• Primary skillset of building and maintaining complex ETL orchestrating pipelines preferably using Airflow
• Data Engineerswith experience in Airflow, Python, Bash, SQL 
• Education (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• You have professional experience. Solid experience in Data or BI engineering dealing with large complex data scenarios
• Ability to work with varied data infrastructures – including relational databases, column stores, NoSQL databases, and file-based storage solutions. Exposure to machine learning or machine learning pipelines is a plus. Ability to set up containerized services using Kubernetes and Docker.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with building and designing enterprise data pipelines with various levels of priority, concurrency, and versioning

Salary:8,80 EUR/hour gross
