What you’ll achieve

As a Data Science Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead individuals, setting team goals and evolving business. You will be leading a team of highly skilled data scientists, who are researching and developing state-of-the-art technologies to advance Dell’s portfolio, and to influence decision making based on deep-dive data analysis. You will direct the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.

We are looking for people who are comfortable learning and easily adapting to meet the needs of our rapidly evolving business.

You will:

• Manage professionals, setting team goals and conducting performance reviews
• Support and drive the vision, goals and measures of success for the function
• Manage partnerships with the academic and business community to develop new techniques and to contribute to research in the team's interest area
• Author White Papers and file patents on innovative techniques and processes
• Provide high-level technical guidance and vision

Essential Requirements

• Previous work experience in applied research environments
• Solid knowledge of AI / Machine Learning techniques and tools
• Managerial / leadership experience
• Written and spoken English (advanced / fluent), capable of working directly with people across the globe
• Master’s or PhD degree in STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math) preferable
