What You’ll Achieve

As a Statistical & Machine Learning / AI Data Scientist Advisor, you should have experience in analyzing data and building models on a large scale. You should have solid business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions and to build modeling solutions that answer those questions. We expect you to be familiar with most of the standard methods: linear regression, logistic regression, regularized regressions, nearest neighbors, k-means, decision tree-based algorithms (random forest, extreme gradient boosting), neural networks and/or deep learning. However, it is also important to be curious about the latest trends in data science and creative in applying/implementing new methods or combinations of them to our data.

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop your analytical and technical skills with challenging projects and work with experienced data scientists and data/ML engineers. Expect to expand your skills in Python / R and apply machine learning techniques to large datasets.

You will:

• Drive discussions to frame problem statements, develop hypotheses, design data frames, recommend modeling approaches, measure success & testing criteria

• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale feature engineering, model development, model validation and production

• Communicate with product teams and leadership and turn hard and abstract into simple and approachable

Essential Requirements:

• You have 3+ years of professional experience in predictive modeling and analysis, designing and implementing solutions to drive business outcomes.

• Education (Master’s degree or higher) in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R especially on data wrangling, analysis, modeling and ability to build scalable machine learning pipelines. Excellent problem solving, analytic skills, knowledge of core statistical concepts and English communication skills.

• Advanced knowledge of data science methods (Decision Tree/Regression based methods, Clustering, etc.)

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience with methods and technologies such as NLP and deep learning (Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch).

• Software engineering experience particularly related to productionizing machine learning models and scaling them in low-latency settings (Docker, Airflow, MLFlow, CI/CD).

Salary starting from: 2 660 Euro/gross monthly
