Responsibilities

• Drive a partnership with Innovation, product managers, business team to realize Generative AI use cases and define roadmap for broader adoption across Enterprise.• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for PepsiCo Business and IT using AI/ML Solutions.• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Generative AI and ChatGPT products• Work with Senior Leadership and Enterprise Architecture to Craft and communicate product strategy across organizations – gain consensus, encourage collaboration and influence senior executives to acquire necessary resources - regularly engaging with partner teams to evangelize AI/ML features• Lead Design and implementation of generative algorithms and tools to support production.• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms using deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.• Develop and maintain Generative AI/ChatGPT models and algorithms.• Train, test, and evaluate machine learning models to ensure optimal performance.• Develop scalable and efficient machine learning pipelines for processing large volumes of data.• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for machine learning engineering.• Create a transition plan for new products from Engineering to Delivery teams for broad adoption• Working on data curation and processing for training generative foundation models.• Monitoring large-scale training jobs that use several hundred to thousand GPUs.• Building prototype demo apps to demonstrate the capabilities of the foundation models.• Aspiring the group members to maintain high software quality, test coverage, and documentation.• Ability to become competent in other branches of machine learning• Staying up to date with the latest developments in AI technology and incorporating them into our research

Qualifications

• Require master’s in computer science with AI/ML or Data Science background• Background in Architecture and Development in areas that include AI/ML, Integration and Data engineering tracks.• 5+ years of experience with supporting machine learning projects• 2+ years of experience with applying large language and generative AI models, including transformers and GPT models• 2+ years of experience with researching modern AI capabilities in machine learning, including deep learning and natural language processing and LLM frameworks

• Deep passion for the content creation space and for innovation in how creativity will be transformed by AI/ML• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.• Knowledge of Generative AI/ChatGPT models and algorithms.• Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or computer graphics• Understand existing tech stacks and unlock new capabilities in areas like RPA, Hyper Automation, Low-no-code Automation.• Familiarity with Multi-modal ML, Graph ML and/or Reinforcement Learning (RL) in a distributed large-scale training environment is desirable.

• Strong knowledge of deep learning (and ideally generative models)• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.• Strong influencing skills, and leadership ability, ideally including experience driving consensus in matrixed organizations.• Have technical capabilities to be able to have meaningful conversations with our partner developers.• Are willing and excited to play many deployment-related positions, including those we haven’t scoped yet.
