Job Description

This Senior Data Analyst will be a part of the People Analytics Center-of-Excellence. Our team collaborates with all levels of the organization from our executives to people in our worldwide network of professional, sales, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. You will be responsible for applying new technologies to business problems and helping develop insights from ground-breaking statistical and machine learning models of complex human resources and business challenges.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Applying analytical skills to design research studies of employee behaviors and outcomes
  • Developing novel predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems and continuously striving to improve them
  • Helping partners understand key insights and working with them to develop and implement action plans leading to real business impact through effective communication and close collaboration
  • Designing and conducting experiments, in partnership with a team, to understand human behavior and experiment different ways to influence it at work
  • Identifying, gathering, and analyzing complex, multi-dimensional and high velocity datasets utilizing a variety of tools
  • Performing descriptive and inferential analyses of data relating to employees’ lifecycles within the company including talent acquisition, development, promotion, retention and career mobility
  • Integrating the analytics Into existing business work flows
  • Measuring business outcome (quantitatively and/or qualitatively) on a periodic basis.
  • Developing junior team members and leading project tasks.
  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of current and emerging trends within the analytics industry

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Masters preferred) in an applied quantitative or social science discipline, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, I/O Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Mathematics, Anthropology, or Political Science, with an emphasis on use of advanced technologies and empirical research
  • Technical expertise with Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, Data Virtualization, BI tools
  • Experience in Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power apps, Power flow, sharepoint sites…
  • Working experience with Agile and DevOps
  • Ability to understand complex functional and IT requirements and be able to identify and offer multiple solution options to facilitate the best outcome.
  • Maintain accountability and ownership of work and tasks
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with programming and application development using Python, R, R-Shiny, SQL. 3 years of experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in building multi-variate statistical modeling, including approaches like linear and logistic regression. 3 years of experience is preferred
  • Experience in applying AI, NLP and machine/deep learning towards topics like prediction modeling, text analytics, sentiment analysis, and/or path analysis
  • Experience in managing data acquisition and organization, as required to build statistical models
  • Good business acumen and business domain knowledge is highly preferred
