The PBNA Supply Chain is responsible for producing & distributing nearly 2 Billion cases of product through a network of 60+ plants and ~400 DC’s annually. The SC Capability, Stat analytics and Inventory Optimization teams plays a critical role in helping the supply chain function efficiently, and in delivering optimized landed costs for the products, as well as ensuring that service and inventory levels remain optimized across the businesses. The team evaluates the full end-to-end supply chain network with a key focus on statistical forecasting, cost, capacity, capability, and logistics.

The Supply Chain Planning Associate Manager will be accountable for assisting the Director of capability and Stat analytics in preparation for deployment of Forecast to Schedule (FTS) solution. The chosen candidate is expected to have a strong background in one or all the following functions: demand planning, stat forecasting, supply planning and material resource planning. This role will partner extensively across the organization with the PBNA PGT project team, sector/division planning leaders, IT and external partners on the project (IBM and SAP).

This role will require involvement in network simulation, development of training material, user acceptance testing and deployment for network optimization, demand planning, Inventory optimization, production planning and replenishment planning.

The position requires the utilization of PBNA supply, demand and material resource planning business processes to successfully deploy new Forecast to schedule solution to the sector and division teams. Should have the capability to report out to sector and division senior leaders on status and KPIs for demand and planning solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the Statistical Forecasting Solution (SAP IBP) for Demand planning
  • Provide SME knowledge and experience to project cut-over activities within demand planning, supply planning and Inventory optimization.
  • Be a results-oriented “change agent” who can understand and help script/facilitate testing of business scenarios for FTS
  • Ensuring data accuracy, completeness for key planning systems & metrics
  • Participate in network simulation and ensure overall quality of solution with focus on deployment
  • Lead end user training
  • Lead solution adoption and change management, implementing process improvement to drive application sustainability.
  • Communicate gaps in FTS solution to PGT leadership team and develop action plans.
  • Deliver ongoing and ad-hoc reporting to help inform and optimize SC metrics
  • Proactively reach out to external SMEs and functional team members for advice, guidance, and assistance
  • Continuous improvement of systems, tools, and processes in support of FTS (Forecast to schedule)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected salary range is $81,000-$117,400.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4-6 years SC planning, warehouse or transportation experience
  • Solid understanding of demand and supply planning systems
  • Data Science and model building experience a plus
  • Programming capabilities in Python, R, SAS highly desired
  • Strong analytical, project management, process orientation, influencing and collaborative skills.
  • Able to challenge requirements and business processes to ensure best practice, willing to ask difficult questions
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work through others; open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practices
  • Positive, resilient, and motivated to change and simplify processes
  • Ability to perform and prioritize under pressure
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral; ability to articulate or demonstrate best practices
