Job Description

• Decides feasibility of implementing ML solutions within digital capabilities
• Consults with Product Designers to translate business objectives / requirements into machine learning approaches
• Consults with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to align on data delivery processes and channels required for ML tools / solutions
• Executes the design, development, testing and deployment of machine learning models to support digital capabilities
• Executes post-production activities, including monitoring data and model performance, running A/B tests, and maintaining software systems
• Executes the development of guidelines and documentation outlining best practices for ML solution development, staying up to date on the latest innovations and best practices in machine learning engineering
• Informs technical and non-technical stakeholders on machine learning processes and development progress; escalates risks and issues as required to leadership for resolution

Qualifications

• 9-11 years overall experience; 4+ years relevant experience with machine learning, data science and data engineering techniques, tools and programming
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related data-driven field preferred
• Strong program development skills using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, R, C++) and database querying languages (e.g., SQL)
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience working with tools, such as TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV, or Spacy
• Experience with distributed algorithms (Map-Reduce, MPI)
• Experience with digital transformation or digital product development involving multiple technologies preferred
• Creative and proactive problem-solver
• Highly collaborative and a strong team player with ability to work across teams and functions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
