Mission Solutions develops, delivers, and operates affordable engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe. These mission critical efforts include development of innovative enterprise, cloud and application-based solutions for mission management, command and control, collection orchestration and tasking, processing, data analysis and analytics along with premier operations and sustainment capabilities of space- based programs in support of national security.

Mission Processing is looking for an experienced signal/image processing engineer to support program startup and execution. Duties include:

• Evaluating, designing and executing mission processing algorithms/techniques for Remote Sensing Systems
• Modeling and Performance assessment of Remote Sensing Systems including mission processing techniques
• Conducting performance sensitivity studies (speed, resources, accuracy) against candidate algorithm implementations
• Requirements development and interface definitions
• Demo presentations and support
• Customer and stakeholder interfacing

The successful candidate should ideally have experience with Mission Processing, Electro-Optical and/or SAR Remote Sensing Systems, TCPED as well as familiarity with Agile Scrum.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Electro-Optical and/or SAR Remote Sensing Systems
• Systems engineering and requirements development experience including interface definition

Desired Skills:

• Experience in evaluating, designing and executing mission processing algorithms/techniques for Remote Sensing Systems
• Experience in Modeling and Performance assessment of Remote Sensing Systems including mission processing techniques
• Experience with projects that include algorithm and software development, implementation, integration, and testing
• Experience conducting performance sensitivity studies (speed, resources, accuracy) against candidate algorithm implementations
• Knowledge and experience in adjacent TCPED technical disciplines and interfaces
• Experience with MBSE, MBE, and Agile Project Management
• Experience in machine learning, deep learning, and/or computer vision (e.g. CNNs, Detection Networks, Segmentation Networks, etc.)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps software development practices
• Proficient in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, MATLAB, JavaScript, C++)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
