Job Description

The selected candidate will be supporting the Lockheed Martin RMS Applications in all phases of the software development process. This individual will be executing software development and programming primarily in C#, in a team environment potentially supporting multiple projects or task orders supporting the maintenance, modernization and capability upgrades to multiple software products developed and sustained by this program. The selected candidate will also collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as fellow software engineers. You will be responsible for

• Supporting Daily Data loads that are mixed bag of SSIS packages and data services jobs that needs you to be experienced in SQL Server, Oracle & SAP Data Services
• Supporting New and Existing Web Applications written mostly using C#, .net core, java, angular, node.js based on program needs
• Database scripting in SQL Server & Oracle
• Supporting existing shell scripts or create as per project needs
• Creating new reports in Tableau and support existing ones written in SSRS

The candidate must be able to coordinate cross-team development, drive quality, and shoulder accountability for all the work that has been performed. The candidate must have the ability to adapt to agile methods that will require a dynamic execution approach, depending on the time-phased needs of the project. Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in software development using object-oriented and/or scripting languages like BASH, Shell Scripts
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
• Ability to adapt & learn newer technologies & tools based on project needs

Desired Skills:

• Experience with one or more of the following software languages: Java, JavaScript, Node.js, C#, Angular, .NET Core
• Experience in Writing SQL queries & Stored Procedures & Performance tuning using SQL & Oracle is a must
• Experience in basic software practices such as unit testing, configuration management, writing queries, and system administration
• Knowledge of tools like PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), Data Services, TIDAL scheduler is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile Development Process, Confluence, GitLab, SAP is a plus

• Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
• Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
