Description:

• Designs, develops, automates, and maintains Supply Chain analytical tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development.
• Develops and maintains software management tools to support Supply Chain tracking, reporting, prediction and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. Designs and implements build procedures that are used to support Supply Chain tracking, reporting, and delivery.
• Trains Supply Chain Teams in the use of productivity tools. This position is a technical leader for other developers on the team by sharing coding best practices and techniques. Develops software configuration standards and policies for enterprise-wide use.
• Performs configuration management to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standards, and are logistically sustainable.
• Maintains the Software Configuration Management System including collection or distribution of code documentation, problem report and change request processing, software build documents, and delivery of software products to operational environments. Implements long term organizational objectives for software process improvement and software code reuse.

Basic Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical, and visualization packages.
• Experienced with the application of statistics and data-mining in business environment (trend discovery and analysis, text mining, correlation and pattern discovery, etc.).
• Demonstrated examples of working with business partners to deliver a solution that meet project objectives (requirements generation, functional specification generation to project execution). Demonstrated experience with the fundamentals of machine learning, and natural language processing.
• Strong interpersonal communications skills (verbal, presentation and written).
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Able to work closely with others in collaborative environment.
• An understanding of traditional business intelligence and data warehousing concepts (ETL, data modeling, and reporting).
• Experience with R/RShiny, Tableau, Python, SQL and Excel.

Desired Skills:

• MA or MS degree in the following or similar fields
• Math, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics education preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server Mgt Studio, R Studio, Visual Studio, HANA Studio, Domino and GitLab
• Knowledge of SAP ERP Systems, Applications and Processes and data constructs, as it applies to Procurement.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $114,100 - $218,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:
