By sharing insights and best practices with the broader organization, you will help to drive innovation and accelerate growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results by driving operational efficiencies, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to enable data-driven decision-making. As a leader, you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction to a team of data and business analysts, while also collaborating with other departments to align data analysis efforts with strategic business objectives. Additionally, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's data-driven culture, driving innovation, and inspiring a team to continuously improve business performance.

This team is based in North Haven, CT. Remote on the East Coast may be considered for well qualified candidates.

A Day in the Life

  • Spearhead the transformation of RST commercial operations by developing and implementing innovative strategies and tools to increase efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Identify and implement commercial KPIs that will serve as the foundation for measuring the effectiveness and health of the business
  • Identify process improvements that will yield cost reductions, increased profit margins, improved quality, and greater efficiency 
  • Pollinate best practices, and drive design and critical thinking to RST daily practice
  • Partner with the Customer Success team bring to light valuable insights and ideas that will drive innovation and growth across the organization
  • Unveil patterns, micro trends, and insights to drive impactful strategic decisions
  • Translating data analysis to business language, standardized and easy to digest
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to help develop customer facing applications 
  • Develop best practices and critical thinking, ensuring that these principles are integrated into our daily operations
  • Travel approximately 20-25%

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a commercial or business support role or advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience in a commercial or business support role
  • 5 years of managerial experience (people, program or project)

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in a commercial or business support role, preferably in the medical devices industry (Or Master’s Degree with 8 years of experience)
  • 7 years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or related fields
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience with process mapping, process improvement methodologies, and KPI development and implementation
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data analytics tools and techniques including but not limited to SQL, HTML, Python etc.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
  • Experience in data access, processing, and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau etc. 
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and leading diverse teams in ambiguous environment
  • Strong business (medical devices) acumen
  • Comfortable pitching and presenting to leadership team
  • Fluent in English.
