A Day in the Life

  • Design, development, evaluation and modification of computer programs to analyze and evaluate clinical data
  • Plan and coordinate programming for database manipulations, transfer, and analysis of data for internal and external clients.
  • Work with databases (i.e. Oracle, CSV from multiple studies or sources).
  • Acts as liaison between Clinical Research department and R&D to communicate and negotiate timelines, requirements and deliverables on an as-needed basis.
  • Interacts with with R&D, Education and Marketing to stay informed of device and software new feature releases
  •  Perform software UAT and review software training and instructions
  • Works independently without appreciable direction
  • Medical device data management / Data Mining / Data Analysis / Validation

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical data/analysis experience

OR

  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

  • M.S/Ph.D. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science
  • Experience using clinical data management system (i.e. Oracle Clinical / Medidata and SQL) and data analysis (i.e. MATLAB and data visualization). Extensive experience with data mining.
  • Other desired skills: ORACLE PL/SQL; MATLAB; EXCEL VBA; SCRIPTING; C#; PYTHON, APIs, AWS
  • Advanced programming skillset. Capable of import and export functionality using programming tools / applications from various external sources
  • Experience in medical device
  • Solid understanding of clinical device/drug development process
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and technical database skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong preference to local candidates
