A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Build and execute strategy for enterprise reporting enabling actionable insights. Define KPI and enable data culture in decision making
  • Manage privacy, security, data control, and compliance for Reporting and BI Solutions
  • Develop a high-performing analytics team to deliver high quality analytical applications and tools focused on process automation, operational efficiency, and data monetization
  • Deliver business-wide analytics across the spectrum of reporting, data visualization, business intelligence, and advanced analytics
  • Support and service divisional analytical needs across all functional areas
  • Provide thought leadership on Data Management and partner with Data Science, ML Engineering, Data Engineering, and Privacy teams to enable analytics at scale
  • Ensure analytics products are aligned with rapidly evolving business needs
  • Partner with the Data Engineering team to migrate on-premises/re-design legacy ETL jobs to ELT model, removing dependency from legacy tools

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree
  • 5+ years of managerial experience 

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Strongly Preferred:

o Bachelor’s or advanced degree in STEM discipline

o Previous experience designing, building, and executing engineering roadmaps resulting in successful product launch

o Dimensional reporting expertise and a strong foundation in BI Engineering

o Action-based, self-driven mindset and a commitment to keeping up with evolving technologies and trends

  • 5+ years in an Architect or Engineer role building analytics platforms and enabling enterprise dimensional reporting
  • 4+ years of experience using BI tools with Presto, Snowflake, Databricks, or NoSQL databases
  • In depth understanding of data warehousing, vault, and Data Privacy techniques
  • Experience working with Data Science team to deploy and support model output
  • 5+ years’ experience leading platform architecture teams
  • Previous experience with Tableau upgrades on AWS platform
  • 3+ years’ experience is supporting Sox compliance 
  • 3+ years’ experience in regulated sector supporting HIPPA, GDPR or similar compliance standards
  • 2+ years of experience with Airflow or similar automation tool
  • Proven experience building BI programs from the ground up across multiple operational areas, such as Customer Experience, Sales & Marketing, Quality, Finance etc.
  • Prior success building global teams in the areas of business intelligence, analytics, and ad-hoc analysis
  • Extraordinary organizational skills with the ability to work cross functionally with stakeholders and global leadership

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
