Job Description

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
  • Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
  • Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
  • Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
  • Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
  • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and design solutions to keep the continuous improvement of the NLP Model
  • Create and design analysis documentation about business requirements.
  • Engage customer stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive towards the organization’s key business outcomes, leveraging methodologies such as design thinking.
  • Work with the different areas in the end-to-end process automation with RPA using recommended best practices.
  • Work closely with the functional experts and Conversational Banking team to validate technical integration and development conforms to requirements.
  • Prepare and present analysis, methods and result to non-expert personnel management team and technical experts through different projects.
  • Lead the development team for task management, as well as progress and impediments
  • Scrum ceremonies for the development of the project (Sprint planning, Daily scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint retrospectives) in Jira
  • Administration of the Project Backlog in collaboration with the PO.
  • Follow-up on activities and progress reviews in conjunction with the Citi Dev Lead
  • Administrative monitoring of the project with the Citi PM
  • Collaboration in the generation of US with the PO and Stakeholders of the project
  • Monitoring and internal weekly reports (AT) of project progress
  • Request, integration and review of monthly deliverables

Skills:

  • 3+ years working experience as Business Analyst; designing and deploying solutions to transform business processes and achieve business outcomes.
  • 1+ years of solid NLP designing, training, and implementing experience in Chatbots in Kore.ai or other similar technologies such as Amelia, IBM Watson, Dialog Flow.
  • Basic Kore.ai Certification and Advanced Kore.ai cert is a plus
  • Training NLP models (Knowledge in patterns generation, utterances, stops words, intents identification, synonyms, concepts, traits, rules, conversation context, NLP processing logs, negative patterns, key words, NLP engines and re-train model expertise).
  • Advanced skills in process analysis, assessments and effective designs of improve proposal solutions.
  • Usage of standard process notations to map processes (EPC, BPMN 2.0).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop joint solutions.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with other areas driven to achieve results.
  • Demonstrate accountability and ability to prioritize thinking and solve problems.
  • Ability to be flexible show initiate and respond quickly when situations change.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Spoken and written Spanish and English is a must.
  • Work in Mexico CT hours and sometimes in IST hours.
  • Fluidly Analytical: Fluent with data and pride in creating an engaging and informative data-driven customer journey. Defines the right metrics and test cases. Interprets and make decisions from champion-challenger test results. Smart risk taking and can crisply communicate analysis and design decisions.
  • Technical Aptitude: Stays up to date regarding current technology capabilities and customer experience best practices, emerging trends, and competitive landscape. Experience in e-commerce, mobile & digital servicing/engagement as well as demonstrated proficiency in leading multiple large-scale enterprise projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills.
