Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative solutions in areas such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), semantic and advanced information search, extraction, induction, classification and exploration.
• Database analysis to identify high-impact problems and opportunities
• Together with your manager, develop, plan and execute NLP methodologies applied to different use cases focused on credit, deposits, savings or customer experience, which implies specific knowledge in:
  • Data cleaning (texts, audios or specific characteristics of each client, transactional or demographic)
  • Feature engineering
  • Development and planning of unsupervised models, machine learning or artificial intelligence.
  • Documentation and monitoring of model metrics.
• Propose alternative and innovative sources of information
• Summarize the key findings and present them to senior management.

Skills and requirements:

• Advanced applied statistics skills, including distributions, statistical tests, regression, etc.
• Excellent understanding of NLP techniques and algorithms and fundamental machine learning algorithms such as Deep Learning, k-NN, Regression, SVM, Random Forests, etc.
• Knowledge in BERT and Transformers, desirable.
• Experience with common data science toolkits, (NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Pandas, IPython, etc.) and Scikit-Learn highly desirable
• Strong working knowledge of Python is a must,
• Professional experience in statistical packages (SAS Advanced, SQL, R, Spark desirable).
• Desirable with data visualization tools, such as Matplotlib, GGplot, etc.
• At least one year of project experience as a Data Scientist with a multi-disciplinary project management background, desirable in NLP
• English level: Advanced

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuary, data science, computer science, engineering, statistics or related.
