The Data Governance Metrics and Reporting Lead would be a Vice President as part of the Metrics and Reporting team within the Enterprise Chief Data Office. The Lead’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited tproject management of existing and future metric work plans and strategies, as well as monitor feasibilities, enhancements, and evolution of metrics as they apply tthe reporting and metrics work stream through all 3 tiers of the metrics scope. The selected individual will be able tprovide thorough review of existing metrics and procedures, in order tmake critical analysis tdesign, develop & drive executive messaging tsuccessfully deliver metrics tthe page. This role will curate a development plan tbecome a subject matter expert across all metrics and reporting workstreams tunderstand methodologies and techniques being used tmake recommendations on how tstandardize, enhance as well as create data linkages tnew and upcoming systems. All tasks as described above would require a best-in-class documentation mindset, a strong focus on risk and controls, while maintaining excellent working relationship across our internal and external networks of ECDand FCDpartners. This individual should be a team player and work timprove data quality, while providing a thorough understanding of how-tQA materials for feasibility checks while supporting a tight timeline for delivery schedules. The lead is responsible for properly reviewing the processes, physical materials, and sources tconfirm quality of the information across single and multiple data points while being mindful of all requirements. Must have high-level communication skills in order tconvey and communicate complex information in a clear and concise way tpeer and senior audiences alike.

  • Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools (JIRA)
  • Excellent relationship management, stakeholder engagement and consulting skills with proven ability tquickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Exposure tmultiple business units tunderstand the linkages and dependencies
  • Experience in developing standards, processes, and data frameworks
  • Capable of driving initiatives within businesses, function, and across the enterprise. Ability tcommunicate strategic insights and updates with executive stakeholders (Ex: FCDO, etc.)
  • Well networked and respected amongst peers
  • Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel), and general understanding of Enterprise reporting standard within a financial institution (Ex: Power BI, Tableau, Qlick, etc).
  • Ability tcontribute, support, and lead efforts tachieve department/ business unit goals, up tand including recommendations tchanges in policy and procedures resulting from review findings, participate in leadership level meetings, and quality assurance review of analyst case work
  • Ability twork independently and use a high level of independent judgment
  • Appropriately manage and engage with internal governance processes (eg, artifacts, evidence) and partners (eg, IA, ORM)

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior Data Management experience
  • 6+ years in Banking and/or Finance industry desired
  • Demonstrated Data Analyst skillset
  • Ability tmonitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
  • A Master’s degree is preferred, as is experience with Data Quality and Metadata Management. A minimum of six (6) years of combined experience and in-depth knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Change Management, Banking, and Finance
