ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are building the world's most advanced model training and evaluation platform which allows fast experimentation, productization and flexibility for innovation in modeling direction to drive the autonomous vehicle industry forward. At Cruise, we develop state of the art Deep learning models that push the boundaries of scaling and distributed machine learning.
Our models deal with high dimensional (lidar, 3d points) and temporal data (videos) and are on the critical path for AV success. As we scale our commercial fleet to more cities, we have a lot of innovation ahead of us to iterate on the models faster and reduce the cost of our infrastructure.
As Technical Lead Manager for Cruise's Training team, you will be at the heart of ML for the entire company. From computer vision to ranking models, Training platform powers more and more training workloads. As a senior leader, you will collaborate with machine learning engineers and engineering leaders from all of Cruise AI, building a platform that delights our internal customers while maintaining exceptional reliability and flexibility. While partnering closely with these teams, you will have the opportunity to build a reliable, cost efficient and highly scalable training framework that satisfies our training needs, allows faster experimentation and gives us flexibility for innovation in our model direction.
As a technical leader within Cruise, you will build strong, happy and engaged teams helping them to deliver their best work. You will also help each team member grow, coach them, and develop plans that support their career goals.

The salary range for this position is $241,700 - $355,400. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
