The Machine Learning Platform team builds and supports the essential tools and frameworks for every machine learning engineer at Cruise. Our goal is to greatly accelerate the development cycle of machine learning models across the whole company, empowering machine learning engineers to focus on improving the car’s safety and performance, instead of worrying about their infrastructure. Our scope covers the whole lifecycle of machine learning at Cruise: feature processing, model training and deployment. We care about performance, ease of use and reliability of our products. We are driven by the success of our partner teams who rely on our work to build the most advanced driverless cars in the world.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Design, implement and deploy platforms and tools to support machine learning models training workflows at Cruise.
• Research, apply the cutting edge development in distributed training domain into Cruise Machine Learning Platform to build better, faster and more efficient platform
• Work closely with partner teams & customers - ML engineers to ensure they are benefiting from the systems we built.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

• Strong experience in Deep Learning, high performance compute domain.
• Strong hands on experience in design, implementation.
• Strong in C++ or Python.

BONUS POINTS!

• PhD whose research interest focus in deep Learning, high performance compute domain.
• Modeling experience in Computer vision, NPC etc.

The salary range for this position is $28.00 - 68.00/hour. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
