The Role:

Moderna is seeking talented intern to join Statistical Programming team for the summer. The location can be in Cambridge, MA office, or remote. As an intern, you will work with a senior-level statistical programmer on project related to clinical trial or real-world data across therapeutic areas including Infectious Diseases, Oncology, and Rare Diseases etc. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team of a high growth organization that is radically changing the biotech industry via cutting-edge mRNA science. The intern project aims to help intern to learn about day-to-day tasks through their specific work assignments and develop innovation method to improve current technical process.

We offer one Summer Internship runs from June 3, 2024 to August 16th. The program is 10-12 weeks in duration. Candidates must be available an on-site in Cambridge, MA for a minimum of 10 weeks to participate in the program.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

• Work with senior-level statistical programmer on project related to clinical trials or real-world data.
• Coded SAS programs for applications designed to analyze and report data in CDISC format on assigned projects with instruction or input from supervisor.
• Creates and reviews documentation required to support data analysis, reporting, and CDISC data submission with instruction or input from supervisor.
• May help define technical processes.
• Present the report of work at the end of the program

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Must be a student in a graduate program (master), or equivalent degree.
• Must have completed at least 12 credit hours within a related major
• Major must be in field related to statistics, biostatistics, data sciences or other related quantitative science.
• Proficiency in using SAS or R or other statistical software
• Good written and oral communication skills in English language
• Authorized to work in the U.S
