The Opportunity

Procter & Gamble is seeking a highly skilled Sr Data/Software Engineer to help drive innovation and transformation. Join a team of professionals motivated by advanced technologies, serving as a catalyst for change, and identifying and aligning technology solutions to help support business opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop IT Solutions
• Leverage Agile and DevOps practices to build solutions
• Understand the business value their IT Solutions deliver
• Understand how to develop on multiple development platforms (i.e. MS Azure, AWS, Salesforce, Web).
• Work in small Development Teams leading the Sprint Backlogs
• Continuously look for opportunities to create more efficient DevOps processes using automation, new (ARB approved) tools, and exploring new development platforms together with DevOps Engineers.
• Work hand-in-hand with Operations Engineers to improve flow between Development and Operations to deliver value faster

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Working experience in Cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure stack
• Knowledge and experience with IT technologies such as Databricks, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, HTIML5
• Skills related to CI/CD, Automation, Agile, Scrum, Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with design patterns, good unit and integration testing practices
• Willingness to learn Architecture style/design for enterprise applications
• The ability to work independently
• English proficiency

Preferred:

• Skills in Scala, R
• External Certifications like Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solution Architect, Scrum, Agile, DevOps
• Knowledge and familiarity with CI/CD standard methodologies
• Skills in Azure, Power BI, and Cloud in general
• DevOps / Agile programming mentality
• Knowledge and skills with Machine Learning and Data Science (nice to have)
