Job Description

The Procter & Gamble U.S. Business Services Company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist - Embedded Data Science - Oral Care (Mason, OH) to execute research and analytics with a focus on TV and Cross-Media optimization. Lead the entire product life cycle from developing optimization and data science models by reading and applying research papers, creating metrics, data source identification, data pre-processing, probabilistic model building, algorithm development, model validation, model deployment, and continuous model evaluation and monitoring. Extract meaningful insights from large data sets (several terabytes) to direct the engagement of our business leaders and make actionable recommendations to drive business value creation. Use advanced visualization techniques to effectively communication complex results with non-technical personnel on a regular basis. Build and deploy machine learning and optimization algorithms to enable algorithmic decisions at scale.

Job Qualifications

Requires a PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Must have 1 year of media optimization and auction systems experience.

Must have knowledge or coursework in: Visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau; DevOps such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Development and Git; Unit tests development and deployment; RL especially deep RL using tensor flow or pytorch; PostgreSQL and Big Query; Using Google Cloud services; API based programmatic applications design/development; Data Driven modelling using Bayesian or frequentist statistics related to TV media;

Recommender system modelling using state of the art methods such as Singular Value decomposition and Deep Learning; TV media optimization, using linear, mixed integer programming and stochastic optimization; and TV market dynamics for linear TV, streaming TV, digital/programmatic media and auction systems. Successful applicants must pass a 3-part assessment (including technical coding), and provide a satisfactory technical presentation in addition to two interviews.

Starting Pay / Salary Range: $128,000.00 - $150,000.00 / year
