Job Description

The Procter & Gamble Company is seeking a R&D Data Scientist (Mason, OH) to leverage leading-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to derive deep consumer understanding from consumer complaints and social media data. Develop and deploy internally deep learning and related machine learning models addressing consumer feedback on our products. Communicate state-of-the-art NLP techniques with other Data Scientists and business leaders. Utilize strong Python and cloud computing skills along with tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow to derive consumer related business insights. 2% domestic and 2% international travel required.

Qualifications

Requires a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering and Public Policy or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in advanced machine learning for natural language processing including deep learning. Must have the following experience: Machine learning methods applied to natural language processing problems including deep learning methods; Machine learning models on cloud services such as AWS/Azure; Python including key packages such as NLTK, NumPy, Pandas and Scikit-Learn; Leveraging GPUs for deep learning and associated tools such as PyTorch or Tensor Flow; and NLP models such as Transformers and Word2Vec (including BERT, GPT).

Successful applicants must pass a 3-part assessment (including technical coding), and provide a satisfactory technical presentation in addition to two interviews.
