Are you looking for a position that offers a rewarding lifelong career filled with new and exciting challenges? P&G is looking for a Regulatory Scientist / Analytics Specialist. The Regulatory Scientist/Analytics Specialist will:

• Monitor applicable regulations/standards, FDA, State regulations in the US
• Assess the competitive landscape and proactively advise on regulatory business strategies, actions to be taken with regard to compliance opportunities or regulatory vulnerabilities.
• Develop and lead regulatory strategies to support consumer and clinical testing of new product innovations.
• Work directly with GPS personnel to understand critical data needs and develop and implement the analytic/digital solutions.
• Develop and run large data queries that create the detailed reports necessary to gauge compliance against key US/Global regulations.

Qualifications

Regulatory Manager - Experience in FDA regulatory or strong willingness to learn complex regulatory landscape, thru compliance strategies for FDA, regulated products, US regulations. The individual in this role must be able to independently formulate logical and data-based regulatory positions, to communicate clearly and manage questions in real time or discern when escalation is needed. Proactive and agile project leadership, issue management, troubleshooting and solution driving skills will contribute to success in this assignment.

Analytics / Digital Mastery - Proficiency with programming languages including SQL, Java, Python or C++ and ability to apply those skills to address key GPS data and reporting needs. Relevant analytics/digital innovation (DI) work experience or academic background, and willingness to learn and understand the technical aspects of GPS/R&D systems. Advanced Excel skills also desirable. Ability to translate user needs into solutions that increase capacity for GPS and R&D partners by simplifying and digitizing technical regulatory work.

Leadership - Will be a key leader to enable a growing Beauty Skin and Personal Care business in compliance with current and forthcoming US regulations. Leadership will be crucial to succeed in this fast-paced business, complex regulatory environment, and within broad multi-functional teams. Will own all elements of digital/analytics efforts across both cosmetic and OTC regulated product categories within Beauty Care SPC working directly with all levels across the GPS organization.

Collaboration - Able to effectively partner within multi-functional teams and GPS peers to develop win-win solutions for the Business that enable compliance with relevant regulations by critical listening, effective partnership and ability to translate needs into effective and timely solutions that enable the solutions to address project needs. Strong collaborative and communication skills enabling excellent working relationships across GPS, R&D, and Global Business Services to ensure a seamless digital development process to support Beauty GPS initiatives and key regulatory and safety needs.

Agility/Capacity - Will be expected to manage several priorities at the same time, knowing when to look across organizations for opportunities to re-apply digital solutions and strategies that lead to simplification and efficiency. Able to flow to the work to enable support of key initiatives. In addition to digitalization / analytic / programming responsibilities, will also be an active member of the Beauty GPS team participating in critical functional meetings, collaborating with other functions within GPS (safety, environmental) to develop disruptive digital solutions.
