Liquid Detergents Product Design Scientist

Guides and influences technical project direction and solves significant technical problems by leveraging scientific/engineering skills and strong foundational Product Design/Development understanding developed through hands-on experimentation/application. Performs Application work and demonstrates implementation skills leveraging knowledge that moves projects forward and also begins to gain exposure to and demonstrate initial proficiency in performing integration work. Develops new test methods/ equipment/ protocol. Develops complex technical solutions for meeting consumer propositions. Applies data science and Engineering for technology problem solutions. Leads sub-projects in technology development and leads multi discipline integration. Sets up learning plans, complex prototype build ups.

Job Qualifications

• Required: PhD in Chemistry (Organic, Organometallic, Polymer, or Surfactant focus preferred but not mandatory), Biochemistry (Enzyme focus preferred), or Chemical Engineering (must have strong organic chemistry basis) - Post-doc NOT required
• Required: GPA must be 3.5 or higher
• Required: Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Required: At least a basic understanding of data science.
• Required: Currently reside within commuting distance to P&G Cincinnati offices or have the ability to relocate to Cincinnati, Ohio –generous relocation benefit provided
• Preferred: Ability to code in main languages (Python, SQL)
• Preferred: Knowledge of statistics

Starting Pay / Salary Range: $128,000.00 - $140,000.00 / year
