Continued scaling of memory technology presents challenges that require sophisticated and creative testing solutions.

As an Intern-Data Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you will join the Technology Solutions group within the SMAI organization to product design implementation and optimization, improving design quality and efficiency, and accelerate verification. The Data Engineering team collaborate closely with Micron’s business functions (Domain SME, Data Scientist..etc) in all aspects of semiconductor data. This role will work primarily with cloud technologies like Cloud data warehouse using Google Cloud Platform and Snowflake, using ETL skills to build data lake, data warehouse, data mart, and APIs, as well as data monitoring and data governance. You will work on data engineering features that support business projects and collaboration with internal Micron team members.

Internship Object:

• Know Micron’s vision and values and engage in the cultural values. A basic

• knowledge of Fab processes and semiconductor device theory.

• Blueprint and build practice testing and monitoring solutions to support data quality.

• Understand in Micron SMAI global data engineering solutions.

Content/Project of internship

• Work with team to craft and implement data testing/monitoring approaches.

• Improve data quality with proposed solutions.

• Ensures successful implementation of projects into business processes

Board knowledge and skills:

• Computer Science or related fields (ex: Information Engineering, Information Management, Data Engineering, Software Engineering)

• Familiar with Linux/Unix environments

• Develop for large volume of data that is fast and reliable for production.

Bonus Qualifications

Any item in the following will be a plus.

• Proficient in Python and SQL, experience in API framework (FastAPI)

• Experience in Go language.

• Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience with containerized services (Docker / Kubernetes)

• Familiar with Big Data development tools is better.

• Want to engage in Big Data development related work in future.
