Job Description

Support Manufacturing:

  • Investigate manufacturing issues related to Probe and Test processes and identify and implement solutions
  • Disposition SPC fails, RMAs, and other product using tools provided
  • REBIN parts when necessary
  • Identify and handle product deviations
  • Research deviations to resolve cause and ensure containment
  • Isolate product that has been shipped and contain affected product as needed
  • Provide supporting data highlighting an issue
  • Contact groups responsible to resolve issues
  • Participate in process changes
  • Use procedures and guidelines for EDT process and tasks
  • Use department specific scripts and commands, software programs as needed

Support Engineering:

  • Assist engineers in developing processes to resolve process variance, equipment, or device performance problems and provide for product quality control and efficiency of equipment and processes
  • Start quals for engineering and supervise progress when requested
  • Identify problems with quals and communicate that to the qual owner
  • Document Process Engineering or Test Engineering projects

Communicate Information:

  • Connect with suppliers, peers, and customers to accurately relay technical information
  • Stay up-to-date on e-mail and respond with concerns
  • Review and approve EDM Inbox items
  • Use accurate grammar, appropriate terminology, and technical terms for the target audience
  • Work toward positive outcomes
  • Work and connect with customers to understand their expectations
  • Communicate problems and concerns to engineering
  • Follow the accurate escalation procedure to communicate problems
  • Seek and respond to feedback from others
  • Set goals, and define task priorities
  • Assist in Process documentation review and development

Mentoring:

  • Actively share information with others to raise level of awareness and knowledge in the department, site, or larger industry groups
  • Develop process or product application courses that can be across areas, departments, and sites, as appropriate
  • Mentor others using detailed guidelines when applicable
  • Build mentor relationships to provide motivation, coaching, and skills training
  • Assist with training of other EDT

EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety, Security)

  • Observe all established EHSS policies, requirements and procedures
  • Follow EHSS guidelines included in work instructions
  • Report conditions or behaviors that are contrary to EHSS policies or procedures
  • Agree with all audits

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma degree in electrical / electronic engineering or computer science related
  • 2+ Year of industry experience or demonstrable experience in data analysis & SPC concepts
  • Self-motivated, possess initiative and ability to work with minimal guidance.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skill.
  • Great teammate with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work on shift.
