Job Description

As a Front-End Central Quality Assurance (FECTQA) Engineer Intern Micron Technology, Inc., VA, you will support QA engineers in product disposition/downgrading before wafer shipment, interface with GQ engineers, PI, process, probe, PE and GQ planners and other support groups to ensure deviated material is contained properly and assist engineering team in disposition material. You will also work with data extraction programs or related reporting tools and identify areas for improvement regarding these responsibilities.

  • Notify and communicate with GQ engineers and probe production on actions needed to release Quality and Reliability Assurance (QRA) hold at probe.
  • Use data analysis tools to extract data, analyze holds for SBL, recommend disposition and execute disposition.
  • Work with engineers on how to disposition lots on other hold reasons.
  • Work closely with fab partners to identify, contain non-conforming wafers (unplanned deviations) and assess risk to outgoing quality of product wafers.
  • Lead and/or support global projects to deploy and improve Quality systems and business processes.
  • Drive and implement SBL (Statistical Bin Limit)/PAT (Part Average Testing) Strategies to ensure highest quality outgoing.
  • Help QA team with automating quality reports, create quality dashboards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Materials Science, Microelectronics, and/or Data Science.

Basic coursework in semiconductor device physics and/or fabrication

Good oral and verbal communication skills

Preferred good skills in R/Python/Tableau tools.
