Job Description

The project aims to leverage machine learning or statistical methods to develop solutions for monitoring, detection, and/or diagnostics applications for yield improvement. Successful and good performing interns may be offered opportunities for full time employment. 

Scope:

• Introduced to Micron's Assembly and Test manufacturing process flow to understand and appreciate the challenges, and requirements for a sensible yield management system. 
• Interact and performing with end-to-end project team: buss partner, I4.0 analyst, data scientists, process engineering teams, solution architect, data engineers, in implementing a thoughtful manufacturing solution. 
• Opportunity to be exposed to the different types of production engineering datasets relating to a real-world problem in semiconductor manufacturing setting. 

 Supporting Team:

• IT Team
• Engineering Team

Deliverables:

• Develop a proof-of-concept (POC) and/or contribute to implementing a production solution in the Yield Management System.

Stretch Goal:

• Deployment of POC to production.
• Innovative ideas that contribute to solutions with great positive impact to quality, yield, and operations.
