What can you expect?

• You will be part of an international, diverse and empowered community working on Research and Technology projects, developing creative proposals for Aircraft systems and Services such as Skywise Predictive Maintenance, Smart Dispatch or Vision-based Navigation.
• You will contribute to internal & external Customers product support, and your role will have a clear positive impact on the next generation of aircraft, including sustainability and environmental protection.

• Within this community, you will join the Data Management & Analytics team involved in data processing and boosting the AI applications across the Systems Engineering center. You will be part of a young and dynamic team of Data Scientist & AI specialists with start-up spirit to address these challenges.

Your challenges:

• Coordinate the development of innovative data-driven solutions and services together with the development engineers with a focus on business needs
• Ensure communication, follow-up and alignment with internal and external stakeholders, incl. Programs, R&T, Engineering, Customer Service, IT and Subcontracting
• Contribute to the vision and strategy around AI based solutions and improvements for Aircraft Systems, Services and Ways of Working
• Coach and foster AI applications, data-driven mindset and agile ways of working
• Join, promote and share actively in the Airbus Analytics & AI community
• Lead the design of creative solutions for optimized operations, services and the aircraft systems of tomorrow

Your Boarding Pass:

• A Master degree or PhD in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience in leading and developing solutions based on Advanced Statistics, Machine Learning & Deep Learning methods, incl. their implementation in a production environment
• Expertise of algorithms & tools linked to supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning
• You evolve very easily within development environments & programming languages like Python, Pyspark, Linux Shell Scripting and NoSQL databases.
• Negotiation level in English
• Knowledge of German or French would be a plus
• You are recognized as a team player with excellent communication skills and you are customer centric
• You are an entrepreneur who likes to think big and impact global
