An internship offer entitled “ Internship in Project Management - Data Science / Analytics (m/f) ” has just opened within Airbus Helicopters on its Marignane site .

You will join a transnational team within the “ Engineering PMO ” organization in charge of steering development projects, monitoring progress and budgets as well as resource management.

Your internship will consist of actively participating in the definition of the Engineering Cost Model within the Engineering Transformation Team .

Ideally, this 6-month internship will begin in January 2024 (the period is provided for information purposes only, and may be revised).

This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

Your tutor will help you identify your professional goals and support you in developing your skills.

Your main activities will be:

• Contribute to deploying the project method within Engineering professions, in order to obtain their cost calculation methods and adapt it to the Project model

• Collaborate with experts from all professions in the Design Office to redefine relational processes to the Cost Model and Activity monitoring

• Contribute to retrieving data from development offers and contracts in progress and already closed, to format them and inject them into the Model

• Check, correct and revalidate the performance of the Model

• Implement new methods or algorithms to enrich the Model

• Contribute to the definition and development of the computer application which will be used to deploy the Project Model

• Ensure support from the Project Manager in the coordination and advancement of project deliverables

• Collaborate in the preparation and monitoring of Project reports to the Steering Committees

This internship will allow you to develop the following skills in particular:

• Find, collect, organize, process and model data

• Perform exploratory analyzes and identify important trends and relationships

• Ability to share analysis results via apps or dashboards in the Foundry platform (Palantir)

• Develop professional sensitivity: understand the professions and their specific expectations

• Understand the benefits and challenges of data visualization

• Prepare and present data in a way that facilitates decision-making and problem-solving

• Explain models and predictions in a business-relevant way

Your boarding pass :

Are you currently preparing a Bac +5 level diploma (or equivalent) in the field of Engineering, Data Science, Commerce or a related discipline? You have the following skills:

• Knowledge of statistical methods of data analysis

• Knowledge of data science, analytics, machine learning packages, preferably in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc.)

• Team spirit and willingness to share and learn

• Take initiative and challenge the status quo

• Be autonomous, proactive, know how to take responsibility

• Agile spirit focused on customer satisfaction

• Good communication

• Autonomy
