AirSense is an innovative Airbus initiative focused on delivering advanced aviation data platform and BI solutions to aviation stakeholders. In the recent months, the acquisition of new customers and customer leads has opened an opportunity to work with us as a principal Azure Cloud Data Engineer.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Own and implement data asset management, rationalized data structures and BI solutions which fit AirSense's customers needs
• Implement data and user traceability mechanisms to enable transparency across AirSense's cloud infrastructures
• Proactively contribute to the expansion and continuous improvement of AirSense services and products

Desired skills and qualifications:

Azure Cloud Data Engineer, 3 years data engineering experience minimum:

• University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in computer science
• Good knowledge of big data challenges and tools like Apache Kafka and Apache Spark. Experience with Apache Flink and Databricks is a plus
• Proven Experience with development of real-time data streaming services under SLA
• Proven Experience delivering end-to-end data and BI services in MS Azure Cloud, including data governance, lineage tracking, backend services
• DevOps mindset: Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Terraform, API Gateway, IaaS, PaaS, RESTful API
• You have good knowledge in data modelling; conceptual, logical and physical schema separation
• Experience deploying software systems under SLA in Azure (ideally Azure Cloud professional certifications)
• Fluency in English
