Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Product Manager in Computer Vision m/f to join our Information Management Department based in Toulouse, France.

As a Product Manager in Computer Vision you will be part of the Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Product Service Line.

Our team strives to infuse Airbus core processes with AI capabilities, benefiting all Airbus employees and customers. As such we aim to be the trusted partner for planning, building and running robust, scalable, trustworthy AI capabilities for Airbus.

In this role you will define, execute and be responsible for the success of our computer vision related services portfolio and offerings. Above all we are looking for someone who is technically versed, brings a strong customer focus and the ability to create clarity in highly ambiguous situations. Someone who can challenge assumptions and create consensus for a product path to help us be the trusted partner of choice in Airbus for AI to create true impact in the company.

You will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams.

Your challenges:

  • Define and own differentiated and compelling computer vision related services and roadmaps that serve business strategic priorities and leverage innovations from research, open source or relevant external partners
  • Own the goal and roadmap across the full product lifecycle, from concept, design, implementation, and launch of computer vision related services
  • Influence, inspire, collaborate, and lead product teams across AI expertise, ML Engineering, Architecture, Software Engineering, Domain experts and Research 
  • Evaluate new application fields, use cases, proofs-of-concept, technologies and standards, and advocate for/against adoption based on value, technical feasibility, make or buy arbitration, cost, usefulness, and more
  • Establish relationships with technical experts, technology providers and relevant business stakeholders to develop in-depth knowledge of business demand as well as technical developments and adoptions in the field and relevant industries
  • Guide the day-to-day product responsibilities orchestrating the delivery of epics, features and user stories
  • Be the go-to person for computer vision in Airbus commercial along with our respective technical AI experts

Your boarding pass:

  • Experience driving product goals, deployment strategy, and design discussions
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction
  • Strong fundamental understanding in machine learning, specifically in computer vision and ideally production deployment of machine learning solutions
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, software design, IT architecture and machine learning model lifecycle management
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders at all levels without direct authority
  • Understanding of the business applications of computer vision technologies and their potential impact on our industry
