Attached to the Digital Transformation Office and the Data & IA team , you will work on the research and development of methods to improve the explainability and robustness of learning models.

In order to improve the performance of our offers, we wish to deepen several Data or AI Driven type projects around the data available to APSYS and its customers. These projects include new functionalities based on data from our applications but also topics covered by the Mobility, Product Security, Sustainability sectors of APSYS, as well as open data.

The mission targets in particular the identification in the state of the art of methods and tools allowing to quantify the degree of generalization of Machine Learning and Deep Learning models and to identify the limits of this generalization. These methods can then be applied in aeronautical use cases in order to define the requirements necessary for their implementation.

The objective of the position is to maintain and develop APSYS' expertise around AI topics and includes the following objectives:

• Identify methods for quantitative evaluation of the generalization of learning models,
• Formalize and disseminate capitalized knowledge within an AI community,
• Develop APSYS expertise around the explainability of AI.

Your main tasks will include:

• The realization of an in-depth state of the art on the limits and barriers to the generalization of models,
• Identification, development and application of ML and DL algorithms to aeronautical use cases.

• You come from a high school type education, engineers and IT (university and school)
• You are rigorous with an eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving solutions and technologies,
• You are an expert in Machine Learning and Deep Learning,
• You have experience in the field of research,
• You have good communication skills and the ability to present complex technical topics to key business stakeholders in a compelling manner,
• You know how to demonstrate autonomy with active listening skills and taking pragmatic initiatives,
• Knowledge of MLOPs is a plus and AWS cloud.
• Advanced level of English!
