We offer 4 positions as Data Scientist in the Finance area.

Job description

You will partner with the Finance teams, Data & IT experts and connect with other data scientists to help Finance in Airbus make better decisions by using data and analytics skills.

You will take an active stake to deliver some deep-dive analysis in a variety of areas, leading to:

• Identify actionable cost drivers, simulate the demand effects or the cash impacts
• Assess the “right” risks
• Enable further change to “Predict and prevent” instead of “detect and fix”; support the forecasting activities
• Automate operational procedures, reduce low value added tasks
• Identify compliance risks (e.g. fraud detection)

Task & accountabilities

• Build scalable process for cleaning, aggregating and maintaining data pipeline
• Assess the technology, security and compliance for the data infrastructure and the industrialization of the models in coordination with the technical
• Design the products to optimize the data collection methods, assess the quality of the data samples, of the models’ performance, automate dashboards and analyses
• Design and develop Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, time series modeling and statistical analysis
• Help business by identifying the uses cases where predictive, simulations, correlation analysis or classification approaches will bring impactful outputs
• Communicate efficiently data insight in a comprehensive manner to our business counterparts
• You will work in an Agile project mode, contribute to project planning, assist the team with estimations, timelines, and prioritization
• take ownership of developed applications and support and improve further

Our ideal candidates will have the following skills

• Advanced Degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science)
• Experience doing quantitative analysis
• Development experience : Python, R, Git, Continuous Integration / Development, ETL
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, big data technologies, background within Business Intelligence software (SAP BW, QlikSense, Power BI…) is a plus
• Enjoy integrating into a team with diverse profiles and objectives
• Languages skills: Negotiation level of English. French, German, Spanish also appreciated
