Job Description

Raytheon is seeking a Senior SPLUNK Systems Engineer to work in a collaborative development environment. Candidate will have Systems Engineering lifecycle experience. The position is for State College, PA, Aurora, CO, or Dulles, VA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Effective Communication with various level stakeholders
• Manage Splunk environment for complex computer and data processing systems
• Conducting Splunk cluster configuration, maintenance, and dashboard creation

Basic Qualifications (Required):

• Experience with the Systems engineering lifecycle
• Experience performing Splunk cluster configuration and maintenance
• Experience in SPLUNK dashboard creations
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience, OR in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
• Active TOP SECRET security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Security + certification
• Experience with automation (Ansible, puppet, chef)
• Experience with software development tools (i.e., Git, Jira,)
• Experience with multi-INT (Intelligence) data
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and SQL
• Linux and scripting language experience
• Experience with big data storage and accesses
