Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, robust software solutions using Python, focusing on applications within robotics, smart manufacturing, advanced inspections, and intelligent products.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design, and ship new features and improve existing ones.
• Lead the design of system architecture and software components to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Ensure that all Python code adheres to industry best practices and internal coding standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in Python and related technologies.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge across the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience in software development with a strong focus on Python.
• Proven experience with robotics, smart manufacturing, advanced inspections, or intelligent products.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Python libraries and frameworks relevant to the industry, such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Robot Operating System (ROS).
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI algorithms and libraries, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, is a plus.
• Proficiency in version control tools such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
