Job Description

The Digital Technology team is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Co-Op on our Data & Analytics team that has the drive to help champion our journey towards becoming a digital leader. In this highly visible enablement role, you will be the part of the team’s front line, addressing the needs of the business partners and the general P&W data community. You will be responsible for creating and supporting business insights from working with the customer and understanding requirements, to developing coding logic, creating visualizations, and delivering analytics solutions. This is a high performing, highly collaborative team, and successful candidates will be self-motivated, team-oriented individuals who are interested in using data to drive change. This position is part time, 25 hours per week. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative analytics solutions utilizing various AI/BI tools and languages (Python, R, Django, React, Databricks, QlikSense, etc.) to automate and improve P&W processes.
• Craft digital solutions using Full stack/UI/UX skills.
• Collaborate in a Lean and Agile team structure to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using Jira and GitHub.
• Analytical/critical thinking with the ability to solve problems independently is a must.
• Partner with other teams such as data management, software development, data science and analytics platform management to build solutions, enabling leaders to make data driven decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Enrolled in Information Technology (or related field).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
• Fluent in English (verbal/written).
• Experience with at least one coding language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Familiar with SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with analytical tools/languages (R, Python). 
• Familiar with visual analytics software (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI).
• Exposure to Full Stack development (Django, Flask, Angular, React, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Able to work as part of a team, self-motivated, customer focused, adaptable to changing priorities.
• Strategic thinker, data-driven and analytical in approach to solving problems who is able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2
