Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The VSL will lead our team as it participates in large scale customer events such as RIMPAC to experiment with capabilities in customer-relevant operational environments often at austere government test facilities.
  • We demonstrate a broad range of capabilities to include datalinks and radios, networking and gateway solutions, multi-level security solutions, multi-spectral sensors, autonomy and machine learning solutions, edge computing and a host of other capabilities.
  • Due to the scale and complexity to coordinate the demonstrations, as well as the austere location of the experiments, significant travel is required for this role (~1/3 time).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date 
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Proven ability to manage complex and multiple third party and government entities to a common ground is essential
  • Proven ability to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team across engineering and business development is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Collins Mission Systems technical capabilities is desired but not required
  • Prior experience with Mission Engineering or Operational Assessment is strongly desired
  • Candidate with an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with current SCI or SCI eligibility
  • The Preferred location for this role is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
  • Prior leadership experience managing a geographically diverse team
