The Customer Decision Science team’s mission is to empower our partners to make informed decisions through meaningful, reliable, and actionable Customer insights. As the Manager of Customer Decision Science, you will play a key role in advancing that mission, by leading a team responsible for generating and communicating key insights around customer behavior that to inform business strategies and tactics across the enterprise. You will help lead a wide range of customer analyses including, but not limited to, shopping patterns & preferences, customer profiles, consumer segmentation, acquisition & retention, brand engagement, and monitoring/tracking key customer metrics.
What will you do?
Manage, coach, and develop a team that performs customer analytics for the enterprise. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Customer Strategy, Marketing, Category, Retail Operations, among others, as your team plays an integral role in answering key strategic questions and producing monthly and quarterly customer updates to the enterprise.
You will participate in scoping sessions with your clients and will help guide the discussion to solutions that are analytically sound and address the questions being asked. The goal is to leverage the team’s subject matter expertise to deliver holistic analyses that drive greater customer understanding, identify growth opportunities that serve as a catalyst for action.
For each project, you may assist in or lead writing SQL code, developing the methodology & analytical support to answer the question, creating presentation-ready material, and sharing out to the end client. You will oversee multiple engagements simultaneously across various business partners, aligning team resources with project objectives, to deliver against varying timelines.
Talent management is core to this role. You will have the opportunity to coach and development direct reports with the end goal of improving individuals and maximizing the overall impact of the team’s work.
This is a hybrid role preferably working out of our Richfield, MN corporate location or an approved technology hub. You will be required to be in the office 3 days per week.
