Who You'll Work With

The team is a highly visible group which reports directly to Cisco’s CEO. ET&I focuses on the next wave of innovation by anticipating, investing in, and incubating new technologies and business ventures. You will be part of the incubation team to develop new products and bring them to market in a startup-like environment.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will work in an innovative team, apply, and advance powerful AI technologies in products that make tangible business impacts, create the latest AI-powered user experiences on various platforms, work alongside a committed generative AI product management team, gain expertise in the most in-demand AI domains for the future, and contribute to shaping Cisco’s AI strategies for the next decade.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Design and implement end-to-end generative AI driven products Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and implement the most effective generative AI solutions for various business use cases.
• Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing generative AI models to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field of AI and apply them to develop innovative solutions.
• Conduct research and develop innovative AI models using state-of-the-art techniques and tools Develop novel algorithms and techniques for text, image, video, and audio generation.

Required Skills:

• Seasoned engineer with 10+ years engineering experience with a consistent track record of developing and delivering complex, distributed, enterprise class software, and create successful business outcomes.
• 8+ years of programming skills in Python or other related languages.
• 8+ years of developing, training, and deploying AI models in real-world applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks.
• Understanding and hands on experience in Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, Image Processing, and other generative AI techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers globally, be an advocate for creative technical trends. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving challenges and ensuring follow through.
• Extraordinarily resourceful & meticulous, you can operate successfully among forward-thinking and charismatic people.
• Equally comfortable and capable interacting with technologists as with business executives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pick-up new skills and delve into new areas and technologies.
