Job Description

This position will support the US Government and by utilizing a groundbreaking new approach to providing software products to our customers in a new consumable approach. The contract team is in search of an exceptional Data Scientist with a real passion for taking on important problems for both Cisco and our customers. An ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence frameworks with a good understanding on making sense of disparate data sources to produce actionable results.

Requirements

• You possess a current, active US Government Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS//SCI) access with CI Polygraph
• You are proficient in at least three of the following: Python, Pandas, SQL/NoSQL, Oracle, REST APIs, Amazon Web Services (specifically GovCloud and C2S/C2E)
• Strong knowledge in making sense of data sets from various sources
• Able to communicate complex findings and analysis to non-technical internal and external stakeholders
• Good understanding on data visualization and reporting techniques
• Well-versed with tools used to integrate data from separate sources to include multiple database types and RESTful interfaces
• You have experience implementing systems that produce actionable results
• Experience with, or admiration for, continuous integration and continuous deployment
• BA/BS in Data Science, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Math, or Statistics (or 5 years relevant work experience)
• U.S. Citizen Located in the Metro D.C. area with ability to work daily in an office in the Herndon, VA area
