What impact you can make

You will have a crucial role in the telecommunications industry as our client, a prominent player, provides various services such as mobile, fixed line, and internet. They prioritize innovation and ensuring customer satisfaction, continuously enhancing their offerings to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Your task involves constructing a centralized Enterprise Data Lake solution for a Mobile Telecom Operator client. This solution will serve as a unified source of information, integrating an End to End Bigdata platform with functionalities such as Data Ingestion, Data Lake, Data Processing, and Data visualization. This project will make use of the existing DWH system to achieve its objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Enterprise Data Lake including the Greenplum Datawarehouse storage. (by implementing a DWH offload use case, ETL process, and Data archiving from EDW to Hadoop)
• Data ingestion batch and RT-streaming mode (ETL Tool/Development…etc.) and integration with actual EDW Data model
• Advanced data Visualization and Analytics Tools and integration with actual reporting tools
• Administrative Management & monitoring tools e.g., resource and process counters.
• Security and Governance of the Platform

 Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience in Big Data (Cloudera-Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
• Scala and Python hands-on experience
• ETL development experience
• Experience in data processing using the Apache Spark framework

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in stream processing (RT/NRT)- Apache Kafka, NiFi, and similar telco data processing experience
