Job Description

GEICO’s finance team is looking for a talented Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. The team is seeking a highly motivated and analytical leader to play a crucial role and manage tasks related to financial analysis for future planning purposes. As a Senior Manager, you will communicate with extensive knowledge and expertise, assess the financial ramifications of strategic objectives with senior leadership, and partner with different teams within GEICO’s organization. We are looking for a candidate that demonstrates decisiveness, independence, and the ability to challenge the status quo.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Linking strategy and operational insurance KPIs to financial results and objectives.
  • Analyzing business initiatives understanding trade-offs and interdependencies to optimize resource allocation and return on investment.
  • Drive accountability through single source of truth management reporting on key financial and operational metrics.
  • Responsible for working closely with key business partners to improve management decisions by providing actionable insights and analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (MBA and/or CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, and the insurance industry, including work with financial forecasting, data modeling or data science.

Location: HYBRID – This position will require the candidate to work onsite 3 times per week.

Preferred Locations: Chevy Chase, MD and Chicago, IL
