Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join the RAD team as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist! As a Senior Machine Learning Scientist, you will assess unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify causes. You will also resolve and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggest variations in approach for designing, prototyping, building, and enhancing our Machine Learning Platform.

We are looking for a motivated, high-energy, self-starter and problem solver with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and solid interpersonal and communication skills. You will work both independently and in a team environment.

Required Job Skills:

  • Experience working with Data Scientists and/or Analytics team in building analytics products
  • Experience building complex, multi-source pipelines for data aggregation, segmentations, and KPI measurements
  • Experience in development of Analytics products
  • Experience developing ETL pipelines
  • Ability to re-construct ill-defined data needs into concrete project deliverables
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with multi-functional teams
  • Strong programming experience in SQL and Python
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, HBase, Scala/Pyspark
  • Experience in Azure Ecosystem (Azure Data lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Storage, CosmosDB), ADO is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Snowflake platform
  • Knowledge of operationalizing experimental Snowflake queries with DBT
  • Experience applying machine learning in information retrieval domain such as search engines, natural language processing preferred
  • Experience with network-based featurization preferred

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of data analytics experience
  • 3 years of experience building pipelines for data aggregation, segmentations, and KPI measurements
  • 3 years of experience in designing data collection and feature construction effort from start to finish
  • 3 years of experience working with Analytics or Data Science teams in developing analytics products
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python/PySpark
  • 2+ years of experience with various data types (AVRO, JSON, PARQUET preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure Ecosystem
  • Experience developing and automating ETL pipelines on Azure platform
  • 1-year experience building graph queries for graph databases preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a related & relevant master’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.
