Job Description

Data engineers in the Data Platform team are responsible for designing data marts, developing and managing data pipelines that enable Coupang to make data-based decisions. This position performs mart design and management for various business domains across the company that can capture Coupang's rapidly changing business, builds a system to collect data from a wide variety of source systems, optimizes storage, and provides stable and reliable management. Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Database System, Data Warehousing concepts and languages ​​(SQL, NoSQL, HiveQL)
• Experience building data marts
• Experienced in processing large amounts of data and building pipelines using EMR, Spark, Hive, or other big data frameworks and distributed processing technologies
• A person who can take the initiative and communicate smoothly with internal/external departments and is proactive and has problem-solving skills
• Those who are proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Scala, or Python
