Job Description

As a Data Analyst, I am responsible for operational reporting and insight-related tasks to provide Coupang users with a world-class customer experience. Millions of customers use Coupang, generating billions of data points. The Product Analytics team compiles this data to generate actionable insights, answer complex business questions, and better understand Coupang's customers.

• Present and create new customer experience indicators and insights to provide the best shopping experience
• Collaborate with product managers (PMs), designers, program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
• Generate and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly business reports, working with multiple teams to capture high-level insights and present them to key stakeholders and management.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and serve as an expert in e-commerce and logistics service analysis.

Qualification Requirements

• Proficient in SQL and with more than 5 years of experience in data analysis
• Experience analyzing data and insights and presenting clear, actionable plans
• Experience using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, and Airflow
• Experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• A person who has the ability to convey complex analysis content concisely and clearly through writing and communication

• Those who hold a bachelor’s/master’s degree in statistics or industrial engineering or have equivalent experience
• A person who can drive and take responsibility for work on his own and has the ability to judge priorities and respond in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
• A person with excellent critical thinking skills, is meticulous, and has excellent ability to solve unstructured problems.
• Experience using Python, R/SAS or other statistical packages
• Someone with experience in log analysis of e-commerce and customer behavior
• Oral and written English proficiency is preferred
