The Eats Analytics team’s vision is to underpin every business decision in Coupang Eats with data and insights. We will achieve that by driving business decisions with insightful analysis, building and maintaining comprehensive reporting network and supporting stable data infrastructure.

We are looking for experienced visionary analysts to join us, and together, deliver significant business impact as a team.

Responsibilities 

• Data Analyst will need to deliver impactful projects that span the entire organization –courier operations to merchant management – through his or her deep domain expertise. This includes leading projects to develop multiple analytical tools and building data foundations.
• Take ownership of Coupang Eats’ overall growth and health of the business, and work with stakeholders and business leaders to identify new opportunities and areas of improvement
• Dive deep into operations and merchant data to identify new ways to scale – this includes working with the leaders of the respective organizations while also having the foresight to conduct analysis based on your own understanding of business needs and priorities
• Projects vary from simple reporting and data visualization to creating more complex models to better understand customer behavior, business trends and to ultimately help drive business decisions
• Strong communication skills to effectively and concisely share the results of the analysis to stakeholders who may not be familiar with technical details

Basic Qualifications 

• 5~8+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate in a business analyst, data analyst, FP&A or data science role
• 8+ years working with Excel as well as data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Experience owning the analytics and performance of a large business unit
• Expert SQL/HQL knowledge, ETL and dimensional modelling experience
• Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense
• Can-do attitude
• Comfortable with using English as the daily working language
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in fast-paced and dynamic environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (STEM, Finance, Economics, Statistics)

Preferred Experience 

• Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA)
• Business-level experience with Python as a plus
• Previous experience in e-commerce, food delivery or other internet-based industries
• Analytical team management experience is a plus

About Eats Analytics Team 

The Eats Analytics team's vision is to ensure that all business decisions made within Coupang Eats are based on data-driven methodology. This is possible because Coupang Eats' data team derives insights, implements a reporting system where business-related information is shared comprehensively and systematically, and a stable data infrastructure. We are looking for passionate data analysts who will utilize Coupang’s Big Data to achieve this vision together!

Responsibilities 

• Through domain knowledge, various projects are carried out across the entire Coupang Eats organization (from delivery operations to seller operations) (including leading projects such as development of various analysis tools, construction of data base, etc.)
• Take ownership of Coupang Eats' overall growth and business status, and collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Analyze operational and seller data in depth based on an understanding of business needs and priorities and identify ways to expand the business.
• A variety of projects are carried out, from simple reporting and data visualization tasks to complex model creation tasks that can identify customer behavior and business trends and help business decisions.
• Communication that can effectively and concisely share analysis results with stakeholders who do not know the technical part

Basic Qualifications 

• Approximately 5-8 years or more of experience in work requiring data analysis skills such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, FP&A, Data Scientist, etc.
• 5+ years of experience using data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Experience in performance and analysis of large business units.
• SQL/HQL expertise and ETL and dimensional modeling experience
• A person who is analytical, strong in detail, and has a business sense
• Ability to efficiently prioritize work and achieve effective results in a fast and dynamic environment (multitasking competency)

Preferred Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (STEM, Finance, Economics, Statistics)
• Engineering and business degree (Master/Ph.D. or MBA)
• Practical experience using Python
• Experience in e-commerce, food delivery industry, or IT industry
• Experience as a team leader in data analysis
