Responsibilities

Candidates must have a strong interest and background in data analysis. Coursework and/or experience in process flow diagrams and logistical analysis is required. Must be proficient with either basic programing skills, basic laboratory skills, and/or experience fabrication experience. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to work independently, as well as in a team.

We are looking for a self-motivated, organized individual with attention to detail.

Among the tasks slated for the position(s) are:

  • Transcribing data from digital and hardcopy records into electronic format
  • Ensuring data ingestion is complete and data is not corrupt
  • Assist with conversion of dashboards to open-source python tools
  • Basic understanding of statistics and/or statistical design of experiments
  • Developing and executing analysis methods for a diverse database containing different data forms
  • Data acquisition software for measurement systems

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited college or university. 
  • Candidates must be taking at least 6 credit hours and have an overall cumulative GPA of 2.50.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred candidate will be pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the following focus areas:

  • Data analytics, data science, computer science and mathematics, statistics, information technology, business, engineering, and physics.
